Tom Daley Is Posting Thirst Traps to Raise Money for Charity

Tom Daley is using his...skills to raise money for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day, a yearly event put on in the UK to raise money for charity.

The Olympic champion agreed to tackle “a grueling four-day journey from London to Plymouth by foot, water, boat and bike,” with eyes on him in the process to encourage people following along to donate to Comic Relief.

“My Hell Of A Homecoming is going from London to Plymouth 270+ miles (435+ KM),” he wrote. “Rowing, Cycling, Swimming and Running all for Comic Relief! I’ve been training for the last 9 weeks and it all starts on MONDAY!!”

Daley promoted the event in the days leading up to his journey with pictures and videos that probably could have been enough on their own to convince fans to fork over cash.

And since his trek began early Monday morning, he’s been keeping everyone updated via Instagram stories — including sometimes dropping a location so people can come say hi.

But back to those thirst traps…

The things celebs do for charity!
